We will place announcements here for the UD-SLED campus user group along with other Second Life events, both in world and in real life, to highlight promising Second Life projects. Please share your ideas, SL experiences, photos and recommendations for sims to visit.
We hope that you will use this site to:

* Share your ideas for new projects and collaborative opportunities
* Blog about your SL projects or upcoming events in your areas of interest
* Form a group with others from all over the world in your area of study in SL
* Recommend interesting sims to visit.

Second Life Duty Is Now Required for Penn State's Online Advisers
Denver -- Plenty of colleges have a presence in Second Life. Pennsylvania State University is taking that a step further. Academic advisers at the university’s online campus are now required to be available for meetings with students in the virtual world every week, a Penn State official said during last week’s Educause conference here.

University of Delaware will host an international show of “Outsider Art” in the Second Life
Artists from the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Denmark and the United States have contributed artwork that will be displayed throughout the UD islands in Second Life.
